Which kind of topic is more interesting for the group
1) memory lane ( the past )
2) current hot topics ( the present )
3) the futuristic topics
And why?

It is difficult to choose one out of Past, Present, Future.
The Past, is interesting because we could choose to write about the pleasant memories or happenings.
The Present topics are cheerful because we could choose to control it to the best of our abilities.
The Future topics are a treat because in our imagination we could invent the future.

Trust Pandy to ask the most tricky question!! I agree that it is difficult to choose between past present and future. However, we have to answer the question, as Pandi has asked it.
I choose the present, perhaps. we are living now. Zen living is living in the moment and living for the moment. For example we are turning 50. It is important to discuss what it means to turn 50, not what it means to turn 40 or turn 60.
Just a thought....

Topic with a tough choice, Pandy. As many said - past, present, and future each have their own special value.
This forum has been equally responsive to nostalgic emails about our past college days, present Anniversary wishes, and future planned events/ meetings.
But in some cases, it may be easier to talk about the past. If it was bad, you are relieved that it is over with. If it was good, you can keep re-thinking it over and over again.
