I want to appreciate the captain in leading this topic assignment & Ganesh who is very good in compressing & squeezing the big contents under each Topic and serving as crisp outcome in a nutshell.
I have selected two topics for this week
The expectations from the New Indian Government
My few points on this topic:
· The Government to be stable for a long tenure
· Reduce corruption levels.
· Development of Infrastructures
· Revamping educational sector (This sector needs to be taken from money making individuals).
· Reforms in Agriculture.
· Creating employment opportunities
· Water conservation & interlinking of rivers.

The expectations from new government:
If we go by the exit polls which have been unanimous, the Government Modi would form is expected to be stable. No corruption. Overall economic progress. Solve problems like river water sharing.
All ready it is a tall order. So, it is best to leave it at that.
Your second question is more interesting.
Other than spouse, who do we love?
“We love our jobs,
Our relatives,
Our boss,
Our colleagues,
Our neighbours,
Our self discipline”
Ippadiyellaam sonnaa nallaa irukkum. Aasaithaan. Aanaal….

My Expectations of the New government:
1. Basic needs should be made available to the common man.
2. Any Govt office/ official should be easily accessible. They should realize that they are working for the people and NOT the other way round. Here in the US, I was at an opening ceremony of the new office of the local politician (Congressman). I was surprised to see him mingling casually with all the attendees (No Bandha, no distinction between VIP guests and the ordinary folks). When someone tried to write a check, the Congressman stopped him and said - This office is funded from your money - the tax payer's money. You don't have to feel obligated to do anything more. Will such a scene be enacted in a Govt office in India?
3. Develop Alternative Energy sources, especially Solar power. Unlike in the US which goes thru severe winter months, India with 365 days of sunshine can harness and work miracles with Solar power.
