he fourth week (end) was very special as three PSGiites descended on camel land.
While their stays were not entirely concurrent, this only meant we were compelled to have more parties.
The first to descend on the town was globe trotter Chandru attending a roadshow on safety. But the safety was thrown to wind in the evening parties!
Whilst Chandru is slowly acquiring a camel tinge with his frequent trips and not exactly a ‘visitor’ anymore for me, a more proper guest arrived the next day with his entire family. This guest is not on Yahoo, (no, he is not on whatsapp either!) and only available on phone calls when he is not busy running his software empire in the silicon-valley (and he always takes the calls whatever the time!!). This VIP is none other than Kumaramangalam, our EEE classmate who also made his appearance in the Silver Streak (with his family).
The next day saw the vivacious and sharp Krish stopping over for a few days enroute to the more glamourous Monaco. Krish, will you please share your experiences in exotic Monaco?
Chandru had left by the time Krish arrived, but there were get-togethers on four days. (Devanand had been in Dubai two weeks earlier, and thank God, we had time to recuperate!)
Mangalam and Sriram are the closest of chums and their spouses are best friends too! And their sons are great buddies and this meant that we Tech boys could manage to get our own time too, other than the family evenings!
On the last day (Friday), after Mangalam and family had left, Madhu, our fellow camel joined to host Krish for lunch. That makes it 7 PSG iites meeting within a space of four days.

Sriram took Mangalam and family to Ferrari Theme park in Abu Dhabi, but drove a Ferrari literally for the trip.
