Had a great time at the opening ceremony of AAAS conference.

Today heard the talk by Dr. Gerald Fink. Genetics is so complex and wonderful..

Bostonians: please do visit his talks in MIT if you get a chance..

Some funny tidbits:

(1) in 20 million years, girls will rule the world,, since Y chromosome is deteriorating fast.. Then he said “Guys do not worry, the rate of deterioration is slowing down”

(2) Also females are mosaic in their gene expressions in cells than males, in a way males are boring..

Any way, it was nice to go to meetings other than materials science and engineering!
